Ilkka Tales - CEO and Director
Ilkka has over 18 years global and regional telecommunications experience having worked for telecommunication operators, a handset manufacturer, service providers and software vendors. He was previously CEO/Founder of Engin Ltd, Chairman of LookMobile, a board member of ACIF and has held senior positions at Philips Communications and Telstra.
Ilkka is currently Chairman of MoGeneration, Australia's leading iPhone application development team. He is also on the advisory board of a European business which is the largest independent mobile software vendor in Europe.
Ilkka has a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Accounting with a sub major in Law. He is a previous winner of the Australian Innovation Award.
Ralph Stonell - CFO
Ralph has a Bachelor of Economics and is a qualified CPA with over 25 years finance and operational experience. He has been a key executive of rapidly growing privately owned and publicly listed companies, mainly within the IT&T and leisure industries. Ralph was previously CFO of Mobile Innovations Ltd, Portland Orthopaedics Ltd and AMF Tenpin Bowling Australia, an Executive Director of LookMobile, and has held senior positions at Greater Union Screen Entertainment and Engin Limited.
Ralph is renowned for his strong financial, strategic and change management skills and has helped companies through, amongst other things, start-up, capital raisings, trade sales and Initial Public Offerings on the ASX.
Carlos Perez - COO and Director
Carlos has over 15 years experience in the telecommunications industry. Starting at Optus in 1994 in Finance and Special Projects his last role was Commercial Manager of the Marketing Division. Carlos then became International CFO for a group with eight telecommunication start up operations in eight different countries. In 2002, Carlos founded T3 Communications, a switchless landline provider focused on Australian SME customers. After three and a half years, T3 was sold to Pacific Internet five folding the original shareholders investment.
In 2008, Carlos founded 5Star Telecom, another switchless reseller of landline, mobile and data for SME customers. Hostech bought the assets of 5Star in December 2009 and Carlos became Director and COO of Hostech.
Carlos has degrees in Finance and Economics and an MBA from Indiana University in the US.
Matthew Costello - Corporate Strategy and Director
Matthew holds a Masters of Finance Management degree and is currently completing his MBA at MGSM. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors holding several board positions with small private companies including 5th Finger (5th International Group Pty Ltd).
As a founding member of 5th Finger, Matthew has worked over the last 9 years to help shape the mobile industry in Australia. After selling the Australian interests of 5th Finger to ninemsn (a joint venture involving PBL and Microsoft) in 2005, he worked with ninemsn as Mobile Sales Director to integrate mobile marketing and mobile advertising capabilities across the PBL media group.
Most recently, Matthew worked with the 5th Finger International team in the US as Director Strategy, putting in place a rollout and expansion plan to build on the success of the startup launch in early 2008.
Steven Crockett - CIO
Steven has been an entrepreneur, innovator and leader in the IT industry for over 16 years. After founding Crox Development in 2001, he built the company to be a key provider of Managed IT and Internet Services to the education market in Western Australia. Crox merged with Accord in 2008 and in his role as Director, Technical Services, he helped the company to achieve growth in excess of 90% per annum. Steven has also led the development of new markets and products across key technologies such as server infrastructure, connectivity and hosted services.
Steven holds a number of industry and technical certifications and is passionate about how clients get the best return from their IT budgets.
Shane Springer – General Manager of Tasmania
Shane has over 24 years of experience in the IT and communications industry and, for the past 15 years, Shane has held senior IT management positions with IT service providers and financial institutions including Comstra, ISW, CUFTAS and Trust Bank.
Shane is a senior member of the Australian Computer Society, a Professional National Accountant with the national Institute of Accountants, an active member of the Tasmanian branch of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) and is a State Branch Committee member in addition to being on the itSMF National Council of Members.
Shane holds a Bachelor of Computing and an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Computing) from the University of Tasmania.
Mark Ilott - General Manager NSW
Mark is General Manager of NSW, which includes the regional areas of Albury/Wodonga, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, Orange and Bathurst. He has a strong interest in product innovation and strategy. With over 14 years of industry experience as a consultant to regional businesses, Mark understands the business needs and drivers across a range of industry verticals.
Timothy Brewer - General Manager WA
With a diverse background across small business, local government, education and not-for-profit’s, Tim adds strategic depth and a community of partnerships to the executive team. Andrew Correll – General Manager SA & Applications
As General Manager, South Australia and Applications, Andrew is responsible for Anittel's Applications practice and our Adelaide based Centre of Excellence for Business Applications.
Prior to joining Anittel, Andrew spent several years as an Executive Director of Pecol Software Solutions, a leading national Microsoft Dynamics provider.
Andrew holds a number of developer and technical qualifications and has extensive cross industry experience.
